Children's Centre Administrator/ReceptionistBased in Bartley Green, Birmingham £13.10phYour new schoolA Children's Centre which deals with the local community and runs a number if children's parent groups. The role is a long term role and will be Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.Your new job The Centre reception is a very busy and fast paced environment. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting parents, visitors and pupils as well as answering and transferring calls and taking messages and ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered too.You will also be responsible for processing referrals for service users and liaising closely with Family Support Worker and the NHS. Please note this is a busy office and requires an individual that can work under pressure.What you'll need to succeedFor this receptionist job, you will need to have excellent communication skills and telephone manner with the ability to work in a pressured environment, as well as an understanding of the importance of 'Child Protection and Safeguarding' issues when working on a school reception. You will also have recent experience working as a school receptionist with satisfactory references. Any person working in a school must hold an enhanced DBS check.
