Job Title: Drop Forge Stamper
Location: Birmingham Area
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am - 4pm (Friday may be an option if required)
Salary: £14.50 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drop Forge Stamper to join our team. As a Drop Forge Stamper, you will operate machinery to shape heated metal into specific forms using dies. This process, known as drop forging, involves heating metal until it's malleable and then using a hammer or press to force it into a die, which contains the desired shape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate stamping machinery to forge metal components.
- Ensure precision and quality in all stamped products.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the drop forge trade or similar manufacturing role.
- Ability to work Monday to Thursday, 7am - 4pm (with potential for Friday work if required).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
