Job Overview:
Pure Staff is currently recruiting for an experienced Reach Forklift Driver to join a specialist wholesaler and distributor of fine quality catering & ethnic supplies in Birmingham on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual seeking long-term stability in a fast-paced working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Reach Forklift Truck to move stock efficiently within the warehouse.
- Ensuring all goods are stored and retrieved safely following warehouse procedures.
- Working at pace to meet daily operational targets.
- Using a management scanner system for stock control and tracking.
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Supporting general warehouse duties when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Reach Forklift experience.
- Ability to manoeuvre the forklift safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a similar industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using a management scanner system.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude to integrate seamlessly into the role.
- A valid Reach Forklift licence (in-date and RTITB/ITSSAR accredited).
