This innovative Business Support PA position supports an enterprising, external facing professional within the fields of academic research and administration. The directors are motivated, focused and passionate about developing the brand nationally and international. Consequently they are looking for a PA who can not only manage all the day to day administrative duties but will also be able to keep one step ahead, thinking intuitively about the strategic plan and seamlessly facilitating the day to day needs to the leaders you’re supporting. The role requires excellent organisation and negotiation skills as it requires the coordination of extensive international travel. You will also be working alongside other PAs and will need to be able to able to work closely to achieve the desired collective outcomes for your directors.

You will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent understanding of international travel and management of itineraries (including visas, time zones, etc.)
  • Excellent diary management skills as well as innovative approach to managing conflicting appointments
  • Help to prioritise the Director’s workload
  • Flag and manage the inbox
  • Be able to collate reports and paperwork to feed into proposals and projects
  • Research and prepare potential opportunities for the Director
  • Be willing and eager to research and broaden knowledge within the industry

As a PA to strategic leaders you will need to have discretion, integrity, enthusiasm, a "can-do" attitude, be a completer/finisher, be proactive, flexible, very open to personal development, switched-on and intelligent and want to develop an understanding of, and interest in, the industry.

This role is an exciting support opportunity and will offer unparalleled access to work at the top level with a driven and innovative director. There is real scope for the right person to develop; you will need to have some business support experience and ideally a strong academic background demonstrated through a bachelors or masters degree.
