Job Duties:- Preparing surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and washing walls
- Applying paint or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Measuring and cutting wallpaper or fabric to fit walls and ceilings
- Ensuring all work meets quality standards and is completed on time
- Consulting with clients to discuss preferences and provide recommendations
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Good communication skills
GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in painting and decorating
Knowledge and Skills:- Knowledge of painting techniques and tools
- Ability to mix paint and match colours
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Painting & Decorating
- Additional training or certifications in related areas
- Work primarily indoors, but may require outdoor work depending on the project
- May need to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment
- May involve working in various weather conditions
