Job Duties:
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in social housing properties
  • Detect faults in plumbing systems and carry out necessary repairs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents
  • Work collaboratively with other tradespeople when needed
  • Fixing leaks

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a plumber in a social housing setting
  • Relevant plumbing qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing)
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Full UK driving licence
Education:

Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent training programme

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a plumber in social housing

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems and components
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Gas Safe registered
  • Experience working with renewable energy systems
