Job Duties:- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in social housing properties
- Detect faults in plumbing systems and carry out necessary repairs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to residents
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople when needed
- Fixing leaks
- Replacing taps
- Cisterns
- Toilets
- Sinks
- Baths
- Minor repairs
- Proven experience as a plumber in a social housing setting
- Relevant plumbing qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing)
- Valid CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent training programme
Experience:Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a plumber in social housing
Knowledge and Skills:- Strong understanding of plumbing systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Gas Safe registered
- Experience working with renewable energy systems
- Work primarily conducted in social housing properties
- Potential exposure to hazardous materials
- Travel between different sites may be required
- Physical demands including lifting and working in confined spaces
