Tradewind Recruitment are working closely with a local primary school in Yardley to appoint a Primary PPA teacher to support release time across the school. This role is open to experienced teachers, ECTs and Experienced UQTs.

Responsibilities of this role include teaching across all primary aged year groups, planning is not required but you will have responsibility for marking and feedback. Due to the scope of year groups that you'd be required to work with, it is essential that you have experience in both KS1 and KS2 (EYFS experience is desirable).

Requirements for this position:

  • QTS or significant experience as a UQT in UK schools
  • Knowledge and experience of KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Strong behaviour management skills (based on positive reinforcement strategies)
  • Adaptability to be able to support a range of children based on age and additional needs

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
