FT Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client based in the Birmingham area. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Scaffold Builder to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and masons, to ensure seamless integration of scaffolding into the overall project.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for fabrication tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding to ensure stability and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in welding tasks as needed to secure scaffold components.
- Perform basic electrical work related to scaffold lighting setups when required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring that all tools and materials are stored correctly after use.
- Engage in painting tasks for protective coatings on scaffold materials as necessary.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is essential.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and fabrication processes is highly desirable.
- Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and masonry equipment.
- CISRS Card
- have access to own car and Must drive
- Green CSCS
Job Details:
- Monday-Friday
- 8am-16:00pm
- start in the yard and finish in the yard
