We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic MFL Lead for a long-term supply position at a secondary school in Perry Barr. This maternity cover role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the language department, with the possibility of up to a year's contract.
Role: MFL Lead (Maternity Cover)
Location: Perry Barr
Pay: 190 - 240 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Length: Up to 1 year (Maternity Cover)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Modern Foreign Languages curriculum across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
- Provide inspirational leadership to the MFL department.
- Support and mentor staff within the department.
- Ensure high-quality teaching and learning for all students.
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies to improve outcomes.
- Ensure a cohesive and engaging learning environment for all learners.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching Spanish and French.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Proven track record in improving student outcomes.
- Ability to inspire and engage students in the subject of MFL.
