Job Title: Slinger Signaller
Location: B46 Area, Birmingham
Salary: £19 - £20 per hour + Digs (if over 50 miles from home)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am - 6pm
Contract: Ongoing
We are currently seeking an experienced Slinger / Signaller for a long-term project in the B46 area of Birmingham. The role involves working on the erection of large upright columns for viaducts, so slinger experience outside of groundworks and civils is essential.
Key Requirements:
- Valid Blue CPCS/NPORS Card (Slinger Signaller)
- Proven slinger/signaller experience with viaducts or similar large-scale structural projects
- Ability to work safely and effectively with heavy, upright columns
- Strong communication skills for working with crane operators and site teams
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to commit to ongoing work
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely slinging and signalling for the movement and placement of large viaduct columns
- Coordinating with crane operators and site personnel to ensure precise and safe lifting operations
- Following strict health and safety protocols at all times
- Reporting any issues or concerns to site management
