An ever-growing Retail company are searching for a sole Payroll Specialist to join. This is the perfect role for a confident individual who is looking for their next challenge and join a driven team, where you will be an integral part of the business as you look to lead the payroll function.

The business is looking for a dynamic and engaging individual who is looking to take the next steps in their career, where you look to gain full ownership of the payroll process. In this role you'll be tasked with developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, sales team and other stakeholders, giving you all-round exposure. Reporting directly into the CFO, you will be given all the support to help you grow alongside the business, where they will be looking for you to observe and improve payroll procedures.

Skills required

  • Work experience in a similar position, so you can hit the ground running.
  • A great understanding of payroll and a familiarity of payroll systems e.g. Sage, would be advantageous.
  • Have great communication and time management skills, to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.
  • Have the ability to work autonomously while using your own initiative, demonstrating the trust the company will have in you.
