Hunter AHP is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a leading NHS hospital in the Midlands on a locum basis. This ongoing contract offers flexibility in your working days, with the chance to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services to hospital wards, ensuring optimal drug therapy for patients
- Conduct medication reviews and support the clinical team with drug-related decision-making
- Work closely with medical staff and patients to promote safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication use
- Ensure compliance with NHS protocols and safety standards
- Manage the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Offer clinical advice and support to hospital staff, promoting best practices in medication management
Requirements:
- GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
- Previous ward-based experience is essential
- Strong communication and team-working skills
- Experience in clinical pharmacy and medication reviews
- Available to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week
- NHS experience is preferred but not mandatory
