What You’ll Be Doing: Join our client's team as a Dispensary-Based Pharmacist and play a key role in providing high-quality pharmacy services within an NHS hospital setting. In this role, you will:

  • Dispense and prepare medications in a hospital dispensary setting.

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of prescriptions.

  • Provide expert advice on drug interactions, side effects, and appropriate dosing.

  • Collaborate with the clinical pharmacy team to optimise patient medication therapy.

  • Manage stock control and ensure the safe and effective use of medications.

  • Lead and support junior pharmacy staff when required.

Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid GPhC registration.

  • Hospital-based experience with a strong focus on dispensary work.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers a full-time locum position, Monday to Friday, with potential extensions based on performance and service needs.
