Lead Clinical Pharmacist | Multi-Specialty Private Hospital

Contract: Full-time, permanent (No weekends or evenings)

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join a cutting-edge private hospital in Birmingham. As the Lead Clinical Pharmacist, you will lead a pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive ward-based services across ITU, HDU, and surgical wards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead delivery of TPN services and embed Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) within a multidisciplinary team.

- Involved in governance, SOP/policy development, and quality improvement projects in partnership with ONE HCA network.

- Oversee clinical development, education, and training for Pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams, and lead quality improvement projects.

- Provide leadership for dispensary services, line-manage pharmacy staff, and develop clinical pharmacy services across multiple specialties, including cardiovascular, orthopaedics, and transplant services.

- Assist with the quality, governance, and assurance of pharmacy services.

What You’ll Bring?

- GPhC registration with a BPharm, MPharm, or BSc in Pharmacy.

- Strong clinical skills, particularly in ITU is desirable.

- Experience in general medicine, inpatients, and/or haematology.

- Leadership and management experience is desirable.
