Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Band 7 Pharmacist to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is essential in supporting the development and continuity of pharmaceutical services at Moseley Hall Hospital and West Heath Hospital. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Head Pharmacists at Moseley Hall and West Heath Hospitals to enhance and maintain pharmaceutical services across both sites.
  • Providing cover during annual leave, study leave, and sick leave to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Delivering high-quality training sessions on medicines and medicines management for healthcare staff.
  • Supervising junior staff to uphold professional standards and ensure effective service provision.
  • Managing the supply of pharmaceuticals to wards, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with regulations.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, other departments, external organizations, and the public to support service excellence.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a qualified pharmacist.
  • Experience in a hospital setting, with a strong understanding of medicines management and clinical practices.
  • Proven ability to deliver training and supervise junior staff effectively.
