Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Band 5 MMT Pharmacy Technician to join our clients NHS hospital team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality medicines management services within the hospital setting. The role involves working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with a 30-minute break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medicines management services in compliance with NHS standards.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective medicines use for patients.
  • Support the delivery of pharmaceutical services within the hospital.
  • Assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of medications and ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Conduct regular audits to monitor and improve medicine usage and compliance.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must hold a Medicines Management qualification.
  • Must have previous experience working in an NHS hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
