As an Occupational Therapist in a Neuro – Rehab department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients within the Birmingham community.
This locum occupational therapist position compes with competitive pay, travel compensation, and the flexibility of working from home while providing essential services in the community.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for patients with neurological conditions.
- Developing and implementing personalised treatment plans aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and quality of life.
- Utilising sensory integration techniques to support patient rehabilitation.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with professional standards and regulations.
- Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the ongoing development of the Neuro – Rehab department.
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Minimum qualification/training as a Sensory Integration Practitioner.
- Experience in neuro-rehabilitation is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
