As a Senior Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for leading data analysis projects, managing complex datasets, and driving insights to inform strategic business decisions.

You will oversee the transformation of data into actionable strategies and have the opportunity to shape and develop advanced analytical processes.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder collaboration, with additional responsibilities including producing detailed reports, supporting business teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel is essential for success in this role.

Senior Lead Analyst - The Role:

  • Drive analytical projects to provide actionable insights that enhance company margins and overall performance.
  • Lead the monitoring and management of pricing activities to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the integrity of incoming data, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Provide strategic guidance on pricing and costing activities to internal teams, including sales and category managers.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships across departments and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Liaise directly with internal and external customers, suppliers, and business units to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations.
  • Interpret and prioritize data requests, providing realistic timelines and high-quality results.
  • Maintain accurate records to meet audit and statutory requirements.

Senior Lead Analyst - The Person:
  • Proficient in IT software packages, including advanced MS-Excel, MS-Access, intermediate MS-Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • A proactive team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of SQL query analysis and VBA is advantageous but not essential.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
