Job Duties:- Carry out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance in social housing properties
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures
- Install new plumbing systems and fixtures as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
- Valid Plumbing qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2)
- Gas Safe Register certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working in social housing maintenance
- Minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English
- Relevant plumbing qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Plumber in social housing settings
- Experience with diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practises
- Strong plumbing skills and technical knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Additional plumbing certifications or training
- Experience with heating systems maintenance
- Work primarily in social housing properties in the West Midlands area
- May require occasional evening or weekend work for emergency repairs
- Physical demands including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces
- Use of personal protective equipment when necessary
