Compliance Administrator

Office Based - B3 2TA

£25,500 + commission

Hours - 07:30am - 4pm / 08:30am - 5pm / 9am - 5:30pm

*Early shift not required during school holidays 

Are you a confident, driven team player? Do you have an eye for detail? TeacherActive are hiring for a Compliance Consultant to join our ambitious and established compliance team.

Experience is not required. We’re looking for people who are confident, great communicators and have a lot of ambition. You’ll need to show resilience and be a team player.

The Compliance Consultant is a key role that helps to drive the business forward and maintain our high standards.

The role of a Compliance Resourcer;

  • Ensuring all required documents are collected, so candidates are cleared for work quickly and accurately by; 
  • Chasing references over the phone 
  • Verifying References, Identification documents & Candidates Right to Work in the UK 
  • Ensuring any gaps or anomalies in CV, DBS’s or references are identified and rectified 
  • Carrying out appropriate checks to confirm candidates are still eligible to be placed into an education setting 
  • Ensuring all documents on a candidates file meet the requirements of our Vetting and Selection Policy 
  • Exceeding expected Resourcer targets 
  • Maintaining the high levels of activity required to exceed targets 
  • Working within TeacherActive’s high levels of clearance standards 
  • Dealing with internal and external queries via telephone and email. 
  • Working with Consultants to assist with the management of candidates, taking them from initial point of audit to ready to clear. 
  • Keeping accurate records of any notes or telephone contacts with candidates using the company CRM 
  • Working closely with the branch network to establish excellent lines of communication 
  • Embodying TeacherActive’s culture and company values 
  • Adhering to high ethical and professional standards 
  • Reflecting on your own performance to continually improve your knowledge, skills and development 
  • Performing additional adhoc checks as required 

Key skills required;

  • Experience of pre-employment checks and vetting candidates to be placed in school, childcare or similar settings 
  • Focus and drive to achieve individual and team targets 
  • A keen eye for detail 
  • Proactive and enthusiastic 
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Experience in a phone based environment 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
