Role: Part-time Compliance Manager (Financial Services)
Contract: Part-time Permanent (hours open to negotiation)
Salary: c£40-50k FTE plus competitive benefits
Location: Birmingham centre with flexibility for home working
We are working on behalf of a thriving and growing financial services and accounting practice seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager, a brand-new role due business growth. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the firm operates within all relevant legal, and regulatory frameworks and will take the lead on developing and implementing compliance policies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and continually update compliance policies and procedures aligned with relevant professional and financial regulations (e.g., ICAEW, Anti Money Laundering).
- Drive effective communication of policies to all staff members and ensure proper training is in place
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks across company operations.
- Carry out regular compliance audits and quality check client files and client communications
- Oversee client onboarding procedures
- Manager Regulatory reporting; main and report on data for regulatory bodies as required. Staying on top of legislative changes.
Key Skills:
- Experience of a similar Compliance role within Accounting and Financial Services with relevant legal and Regulatory Knowledge, ie. ICAEW, Anti Money Laundering.
- Ability to assess complex compliance issues, identify potential risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to build trust with colleagues and lead them in the understanding of the importance of Compliance.
- Familiarity with risk management principles and techniques.
