An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Policy and Funding Coordinator to join a leading training provider. This role is instrumental in keeping the organisation informed and responsive to new developments in Combined Authorities (CAs) and Local Authorities (LAs) funding, policies, and opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, analysing trends, and liaising with government authorities to identify funding streams and policy changes that impact the company's programmes and strategic initiatives.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Policy Funding Coordinator, your role will be central in ensuring the organisation stays ahead of evolving funding landscapes. You will be responsible for monitoring policy changes, analysing various governmental documents, identifying trends within devolved funding landscapes, and building strong relationships with Combined Authorities (CAs) and Local Authorities (LAs). Your keen attention to detail will enable you to pinpoint funding opportunities that align with the company's objectives. Moreover, your organisational skills will be utilised as you develop funding applications, prepare reports for directors, and provide administrative support.

* Monitor and track funding policy changes within Combined Authorities and Local Authorities

* Analyse reports, board minutes, research papers, and other relevant documents from government entities

* Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities within devolved funding landscapes

* Establish and maintain robust working relationships with CAs, LAs, and relevant government bodies

* Research and pinpoint funding opportunities aligned with the company's objectives

* Develop and coordinate applications for funding in collaboration with directors and programme teams

* Prepare regular reports and briefing documents for directors

* Provide administrative support to directors and internal teams

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Policy Funding Coordinator role will bring a wealth of knowledge from their academic background in Public Policy, Political Science or Business. With a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in policy research or funding coordination within the public sector or education industries, you'll have a deep understanding of the funding structures of Combined Authorities (CAs) and Local Authorities (LAs).
