Senior Planner

PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Senior Planner in the Midlands. This will be working for a Contractor who are delivering M&E works within a Railway environment. They are looking for someone who has had previous experience in a Planning role for Infrastructure or Railway projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare all cost and resource-loaded programmes.
• You will need to update the project programmes as regularly as possible to ensure it aligns with the clients expectations. Also, prepare weekly progress photo reports.
• You must provide programme updates and conduct reviews when needed.
• Prepare and submit weekly site progress photo reports.
• Perform impact assessments, delay analyses, and prepare cause-and-effect delay programmes.
• Monitor project progress through look ahead plans, site diaries, and regular site visits.
• Implement and maintain their planning standards and programme logic.
• Prepare tender programmes for Head of Planning.
• You will be supporting the commercial team in managing risks and opportunities at a high level during the project delivery.
• Provide support to other projects as directed by the Planning Manager (when needed)

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Strong understatement of all of our customer satisfactions.
• Planning software and operational requirements within a Rail, M&E or Infrastructure environment.
• Design and construct project awareness and disciplines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum NVQ/HNC.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a planning role.
• Competence in creating planning documentation for infrastructure and railway projects.
