Job Title: Training & Compliance Manager (Field based)

Location: Remote - ideally based in Midlands close to M6, M40. Field teams based across South West, London & South East, and Midlands/North.

Salary: Up to £50k depending on experience + Quarterly Bonus + Fully expensed company vehicle, laptop, tablet & phone

Hours of Work: 8am - 5pm

About the Role:

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Training & Compliance Manager to ensure that relevant staff have the right qualities and competencies to carry out their responsibilities appropriately.

You will have the ability to own, manage and drive forward our plans, delivering training and ensuring competency for new starters and current employees are aligned to company, industry and regulatory standards. We are seeking an individual that is passionate about setting the highest standards of excellence for our teams of Field based Ventilation Engineers and Surveyors, ensuring we meet our goals in offering our clients and customers nothing short of impeccable service.

You must be capable of working closely with departmental managers you should be able to build relationships quickly, and collaboratively to deliver an effective and robust T&C scheme.

Experience of training field based staff in any industry, building and delivering training and compliance materials and frameworks, delivering classroom/ virtual/ 1-2-1 training programmes, ability to get buy-in effortlessly, measure effectiveness of training programmes, and a continuous improvement mindset.

As a Training & Compliance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Create, implement, deliver and manage training programmes across all Airtech departments.
  • Create, implement and manage the standard operating procedures throughout the company to set the benchmark for delivery standards in:
    • Safety
    • Productivity
    • Installation Quality
    • Customer / Multi- Stakeholder Management and Communication
    • Stock/Asset Management
    • Conduct regular audits, investigations and reviews with personnel/teams to measure progress and effectiveness of training programs.
    • Work closely with the Volution Group ‘HR’ and ‘H&S’ departments to ensure compliance to our company wide policies and codes of conduct.
    • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and their subsequent impact on our operating procedures, creating plans and roadmaps to mitigate disruption and maximise positive outcome.
    • Create educational materials, presentations and learning tools to ‘speak’ to all staff learning types.
    • Maintain training & compliance records and documentation to demonstrate our dedication to development and the highest delivery standards.
    • Lead our ‘Airtech Approach’ to one voice, uniting our teams to maximise our customer value proposition.
    • Be our ‘go to’ in-house product expert.
    • Maintain a safe and secure working environment

About you:

Qualifications and Experience required to be successful:

  • 5 Years Experience implementing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures and/or Training Programmes to remote workforces across multiple disciplines
  • Demonstrable experience effectively delivering presentations and public speaking
  • Demonstrable experience effectively working within frameworks to create consistency of workforce delivery
  • Manual drivers license
  • Content travelling throughout the UK on a regular basis

Desirable:

  • Fleet and/or Stock movement and management experience
  • Customer Service experience in the Service Sector
  • Experience of building, interpreting and evolving process maps
  • IOSH Managing Safely Qualification
  • Good Geographic knowledge of the UK
  • Ventilation knowledge/ experience

Personal Skills:

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Great organisational skills – you will be coordinating many moving parts, identifying gaps in knowledge or process and filling them
  • Excellent ability to coach, develop and motivate teams
  • A sound understanding of HR processes, policies and conflict management
  • Ability to influence and drive positive attitudes and behaviours towards Health & Safety
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative
  • A ‘can do’ attitude that brings energy into the surrounding teams
