A leading construction company is seeking a dynamic Senior Environment & Sustainability Advisor for an impactful role in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities:
- Guide project teams on essential documentation and licensing for new projects.
- Develop environmental plans, risk assessments, and compliance strategies.
- Collaborate with ecologists and archaeologists to support project goals.
- Advise construction teams on pollution prevention and environmental best practices.
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws through regular site inspections.
- Maintain sustainability records, including waste management and carbon tracking.
Requirements:
- Degree in Environment or Sustainability.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation in construction.
- Experience with environmental inspections and compliance reporting.
- Familiarity with waste management and carbon footprinting.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Practitioner Membership of IEMA or similar is preferred.
