A leading construction company is seeking a dynamic Senior Environment & Sustainability Advisor for an impactful role in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide project teams on essential documentation and licensing for new projects.
  • Develop environmental plans, risk assessments, and compliance strategies.
  • Collaborate with ecologists and archaeologists to support project goals.
  • Advise construction teams on pollution prevention and environmental best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws through regular site inspections.
  • Maintain sustainability records, including waste management and carbon tracking.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Environment or Sustainability.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental legislation in construction.
  • Experience with environmental inspections and compliance reporting.
  • Familiarity with waste management and carbon footprinting.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Practitioner Membership of IEMA or similar is preferred.
