Pricing Analyst

Location: Birmingham City Centre (1 days working from home)

Salary: 25,000 - 30,000

An opportunity has arisen within a highly acquisitive business in Birmingham City Centre, for a Pricing Analyst to join their growing finance team on a permanent basis, this opportunity has come about due to an internal promotion. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager the successful candidate will have the flexibility to make the role their own. Salary on offer up to 30,000.

The Pricing Analyst will play a pivotal role ensuring accuracy of the system for each site, purchase costs and retail prices.

To be considered for the Pricing Analyst role you will be highly organised, have intermediate Excel skills - pivots, v look ups if functions etc.

Pricing Analyst Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with the Management Accountants to implement cost and sales price changes approved by directors
  • Ensure accuracy of product cost prices and sales prices before released to site
  • Analyse price variances and discrepancies to aid with budgets
  • Proactively check for consistency of costs, and pricing across the group resolving any issues identifies
  • Demonstrate initiative to recommend process changes which will contribute to improved accuracy of transaction processing and stock records
  • Complete routine daily/weekly checks and processes required to ensure accuracy of the data
  • Log issues reported from site, stock audit team, operations team or finance team and manage through to effective resolution including liaising with system provider as required
