CPSS are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Leader and Teacher to join a busy and welcoming primary school in Sandwell. This Primary school boasts a strong leadership team and very supportive culture. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher / EYFS Lead to make a significant impact on young learners and the wider school community. This is a full time position starting Jan 2025 until Easter in the first instance

As an EYFS Teacher / EYFS Lead, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework, Leading and managing the EYFS team to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports children's learning and development.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents/carers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement a rich and varied curriculum.
  • Leading and managing the EYFS team to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Driving the development of the EYFS curriculum, policies, and practices.
  • Analysing data to inform improvements and ensure positive outcomes for all pupils.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS and have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Be passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting every child's potential.
  • Have previous experience or demonstrate the capability to take on leadership responsibilities
