The Role:

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2. You will foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, inspire students, and support their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, curriculum-aligned lessons that engage and challenge students
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track their development
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports all learners
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and teaching assistants to enhance student learning
  • Maintain communication with parents and carers regarding student progress and development
  • Participate in school activities and contribute to the wider school community
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stages 1 and/or 2
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Passionate about teaching and committed to student development
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
