The Role:

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across Key Stages 1 and 2. You will create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that supports all pupils' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and teaching assistants to support student learning
  • Maintain open communication with parents and carers regarding student progress and needs
  • Participate in school events and contribute to the broader school community


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stages 1 and/or 2
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching and commitment to student achievement
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
