Flourish Education is recruiting a Year 1 Teacher for a small, Primary School in Northfield, rated 'Good' by Ofsted. This school have high ambitions for pupils, and ensure the curriculum is exciting and all pupils can access it, providing additional support to children who require it.
This is a full-time, long-term assignment expected to last for the entire academic year and involves full class responsibilities, including planning, preparing, and delivering lessons, as well as monitoring and assessing students' progress throughout the year.
We are looking for an experienced Year 1 Teacher who can manage all planning duties for the year group, as this is a one-form entry school.
As a Year 1 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Observing and assessing pupils' progress effectively.
- Maintaining high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
- Supporting the social and emotional development of pupils in a Primary School setting.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the learning environment.
- Taking full class responsibilities, including marking and reporting.
We're looking for a Year 1 Teacher who has:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience as a Primary Teacher in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 1 (KS1).
- Excellent phonics teaching skills.
- Outstanding behaviour management strategies.
- A minimum of 2 excellent references
