Tradewind Recruitment, are working with a highly regarded institution rated "Good" by OFSTED, who are seeking a Year 2 Primary Teacher to join their team on a fixed-term 12-month contract. Role and Responsibilities:
As a Year 2 Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in the educational development of the students. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and creative lessons that align with the national curriculum.
- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students in the classroom.
- Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and tracking their academic development.
- Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect and supports students' social and emotional growth.
- Collaborating with colleagues and parents/guardians to promote student success and address any concerns.
- Contributing to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role as a Primary Teacher, you should meet the following requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum, particularly in Year 2 and SATs.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
- A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on children's lives.
- Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to adapt to the needs of a diverse student population.
