Your new role

The school are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 class teacher to join their vibrant team from Jan 2025 or ASAP. This is a full-time role, offering the chance to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and stimulating environment. As a class teacher, you will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, implementing the National Curriculum and collaborating with other staff to enhance the educational experience of students. A teaching assistant will be in the class with you for your support. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students, monitor and assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents, work collaboratively with other teachers to ensure the best possible outcomes for students, and attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a qualified teacher (QTS) and have experience working in a primary school setting, preferably in a year 3 setting, though not essential. You need to be a good team player, have good time management and strong behaviour management skills.
