Are you an experienced Year 5 Teacher looking for a fulfilling role in a Primary School? Flourish Education is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join a welcoming school in Selly Oak. This is a full-time role starting on Monday, 31st March, continuing until the end of the academic year. If you have strong KS2 experience and excellent behaviour management skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. With planning already in place, your focus will be on delivering engaging lessons and fostering positive relationships with pupils.

As a Year 5 Teacher you will be responsible for:

  • Full-time Year 5 Teacher role with Class Teacher responsibilities.
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Maintain positive relationships with pupils and manage behaviour effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers in the Primary School.
  • Adapt lesson plans as needed to meet the needs of students.
  • Ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are not eligible for this role.
  • Proven experience as a Year 5 Teacher or within KS2.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • Experience working in a Primary School setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team of teachers.
