Tradewind Recruitment are working closely with a 2-form entry primary school based in Northfield, Birmingham. The school are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable Teaching Assistant to join their team working in KS1.

This is a general support role; the main responsibilities include:

  • Classroom and lesson preparation
  • Supporting students across all subject areas
  • Supporting behaviour management
  • Supporting children with additional needs
  • Safeguarding

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
  • Up to date safeguarding training (Can be provided where required)
  • Experience of supporting learners in UK school settings
  • Enhanced child workforce DBS (Can be provided where required)

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
