Zest Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a hardworking team at a school based in Northfield. The successful candidate will provide support to teachers in delivering high-quality education to the students. You will be required to assist across the whole school on a part-time basis (3 days a week). This role can start in November 2024.

The ideal candidate must be able to motivate and inspire the children and support the class teacher in delivering an interesting curriculum.

Responsibilities:- Assisting teachers in preparing and delivering lessons- Supporting students with their learning, including one-on-one and small group sessions- Monitoring and managing student behaviour in the classroom- Helping with classroom organisation and preparing materials for lessons- Providing additional support for students with special educational needs- Participating in school events and activities as required- Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the school day

Requirements:- A passion for education and a desire to help students succeed- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well as part of a team- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting- Willingness to undergo a DBS check

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
