Tradewind Recruitment are working with a Selly Oak based Primary school to recruit an experience Teaching Assistant with a skill set tailored to support children with high level behaviour needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a behaviour support role.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with students, parents, and staff.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also taking initiative and working independently.
  • Relevant qualifications and training in behaviour management or special educational needs (SEN) are essential.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
