IC Talent are recruiting for primary supply teaching assistants. we are dedicated to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired. We are currently seeking a compassionate and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistant to join our team on a flexible basis. The Role:
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital support to our teaching staff and students across different classrooms. You will assist with delivering lessons, supporting students with their learning, and helping maintain a positive and productive classroom environment. This role offers the chance to work with students of various ages and abilities, contributing to their educational and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and activities to students.
  • Assist with individual or small group support for students who need additional help.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and respectful environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Work with students to support their emotional and social development.
  • Monitor and record student progress as directed by the teacher.
  • Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

What Were Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a passion for helping children succeed.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from teachers and school leaders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and classes.
  • A commitment to supporting the welfare and development of all students.
  • A DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required.
