Primary Teaching Assistant – BirminghamA fantastic two-form entry primary school in Birmingham is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This Ofsted-rated Good school is known for its welcoming atmosphere, supportive leadership, and commitment to ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.This role will involve working on a one-to-one basis with pupils who need additional support, as well as delivering small group interventions to help boost progress. The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a difference and can build positive relationships with pupils.Job role:
  • Providing one-to-one support to pupils with additional learning needs.
  • Delivering small-group interventions to enhance pupil progress.
  • Assisting the class teacher in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting the development of pupils’ confidence, communication, and social skills.
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and ensuring all pupils remain engaged in learning.
  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress, feeding back to teachers and SENCO where required.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Ability to support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum.
  • A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
