This role will focus on providing one-on-one and small group support to children with SEN, contributing significantly to their learning and overall development.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with special educational needs.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
  • Collaborate with the SENCo and class teachers to develop and implement tailored interventions and support plans.
  • Assist in monitoring and recording the progress of SEN students.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies in collaboration with the class teacher.
  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging lessons and activities.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Passion for working with children and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Knowledge of SEN best practices and strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
