Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School Are you a Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity in a welcoming and supportive primary school? This two-form entry primary school in Birmingham, rated Good by Ofsted, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a long-term role where you will work closely with teachers to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. With excellent leadership and a collaborative team, this school provides an outstanding level of support to both staff and pupils.Job Role:
  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to provide tailored interventions.
  • Assisting with phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy to help children reach their full potential.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting children with additional learning needs, adapting resources where required.
  • Helping to prepare learning materials and creating a stimulating classroom setting.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a primary school setting.
  • A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach to supporting children’s learning.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
