Flourish Education are seeking a Year 2 Class Teacher to work in a ‘Good’ rated, large, Primary School in Hall Green. This school have an aim to provide and excellent learning experience for each child, where they are confident, successful, happy children who develop their own love for learning.

This role is a part-time, 4-day a week position, starting in January and continuing for the rest of the academic year. The ideal candidate will be covering 2, Year 2 classes, spending Monday, Thursday, Friday in one class and Wednesday in the other. The responsibilities include planning and marking for the lessons that will be delivered.

This role is best suited for an experienced teacher.

As a Primary Teacher in this role, you will:

  • Take class teacher responsibilities, including planning and marking.
  • Deliver the Key Stage 1 (KS1) National Curriculum to two Year 2 classes on a 4-day schedule (Monday, Thursday, Friday in one class, and Wednesday in another).
  • Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment with excellent behaviour management strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the academic and personal development of pupils.
  • Ensure lessons are tailored to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attainment for the other class Teachers.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching in a Primary School environment, preferably in Year 2 or Key Stage 1 (KS1).
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • Confidence in planning and delivering the National Curriculum.
  • A passion for nurturing young learners and encouraging their full potential.

Working as a Primary Teacher with Flourish Education provides you with:

  • £162.31 - £223.63 per day, which equates to £31,650 to £43,607 per annum based on 5 days per week for a full school year.
