Description
- Develop and implement strategic procurement processes
- Lead negotiation with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
- Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Anticipate and manage any supply chain risks
- Develop a comprehensive strategy for logistics management and distribution
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the team
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK and EU laws and financial regulations
- Responsible for contract negotiation, commercial terms, renews and end-to-end procurement.
Profile
A successful Commercial Manager should have:
- A degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
- Proven working experience as a procurement manager or officer with 10+yrs experience
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a knack for reading the market
- stakeholder management
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Experience in collecting and analysing data
- Strong leadership capabilities
Job Offer
- Salary aim: 90,000 give or take base + package
