IPS Group is working with a leading global insurer to recruit Business Development Manager to help strengthen their presence across the UK commercial insurance market. This is an exciting and visible role that would suit someone with a natural flair for building strong broker relationships, a commercial mindset, and the drive to be out in the market representing a respected name.
Youll be responsible for leading broker engagement across key regional areas, developing and executing relationship strategies that support the wider businesss growth ambitions. The role requires someone who is confident managing a blend of new business generation and key account development, with a particular focus on property and casualty risks. Youll collaborate closely with internal leadership teams to deliver effective, value-driven solutions to clients. Face-to-face interaction will be a big part of this role youll regularly be on the road, attending broker meetings, industry events, and working alongside your colleagues in regional hubs.
The successful candidate will bring experience from the UK commercial insurance market and be a confident communicator that enjoys developing partnerships and representing the business externally. A proactive, self-sufficient approach will be important, as will the ability to think strategically, spot opportunities, and collaborate as part of a broader regional team.
