A SHEQ Manager is sought to lead and manage all aspects of Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment in our growing Automotive sector. The successful candidate will demonstrate their prowess in managing SHEQ systems, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

Description
- Introduce and implement internal strategic quality systems and procedures to ensure continuous quality improvements and meet customer requirements
- Specifically implement and maintain the Quality Standard TS16949 and IS(phone number removed) to comply with customer requirements
- Support SET with Internal Part Submission Warrants (PSW) to ensure they are submitted and approved within the customer specified timescales to ensure all product related documentation is maintained and approved
- Support Project team/activities to ensure smooth integration into mass production
- Continually analyse customer, corporate and internal metrics, using statistical techniques to identify key concerns and trends, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Ensure that problem resolution tools, such as 8D, Fishbone Diagrams and Brainstorming, are used to identify sustainable solutions to quality concerns
- Effectively manage the Quality Department, within budget, ensuring that all aims and objectives are met
- Ensure that suppliers are managed and developed to meet the requirements of the products and service to ensure the most effective ongoing service is provided with existing and new product information
- Work with the Engineering Department/Program Management on the introduction of new models and product changes, with the use of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to ensure all quality aspects considered and met
Profile
A successful SHEQ Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a similar SHEQ role within the Automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of SHEQ regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and influence others.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Automotive background
- Working knowledge of OEM quality management systems
- Working knowledge of TS16949, & ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
- Lab experience, CMM, Humidity Chambers etc
- IOSH or NEBOSH Qualifications
Job Offer
- Salary - 55,000
- Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:00 (15:00 finish on Fridays)
