I am supporting a leading food manufacturer in Birmingham, that are looking for a dedicated QA Technician to join the Technical department. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, with a focus on the day-to-day QA activities, ensuring raw material & finished product quality by sampling, testing & auditing.

Client Details

My client is a well-established manufacturer, renowned for their quality products. They are a large-scale operation based in Birmingham, that have gone through huge investment & structural changes over the last 2 years, that are now looking at taking their Technical department to the next level.

Description

  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards
  • Compile and present detailed reports on QA activities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Contribute to training and development initiatives to improve team competencies

Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:30

Profile

You will be a QA Technician/Quality specialist, that has food manufacturing experience as well as:

  • Ideally, a Food Science or related qualification
  • Food Safety & HACCP training beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A team-oriented mindset
