Quality Assurance Technician Required!

Our client is a leading provider of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) solutions, delivering high-quality components and services to a diverse range of industries.

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Technician. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving quality control across the company.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday 8am - 5:30pm.

Package:

  • Salary in £28,000 - £31,000 (DOE)
  • 4-day working week
  • Paid holiday + bank holidays
  • Company Pension scheme

Quality Assurance Technician - Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspection of incoming parts, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) when required.
  • Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 quality management system
  • Implement better quality controls to enhance overall product quality and reduce defects.
  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and address quality issues with customers and suppliers.
  • Conduct roaming inspections to identify and prevent quality issues in production.
  • Work with internal teams to improve processes and drive continuous quality improvements.
  • Ensure goods received are compliant with required standards and specifications.

Quality Assurance Technician - Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001
  • Experience with First Article Inspections (FAI) and supplier quality management
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with supplier and internal teams
