Key Responsibilities:
- Division Leadership: Build, nurture, and lead the Building Surveying division, including recruitment, training, and team development.
- Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and delivering high-quality consultancy services.
- Project Delivery: Oversee and manage a variety of projects across sectors, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to client requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice on building surveys, dilapidations, defects diagnosis, condition assessments, party wall matters, and refurbishment schemes.
- Business Development: Develop and execute a growth strategy for the division, aligning with company objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions across the built environment.
- Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to health and safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
- Chartered status with RICS.
- Proven experience in Building Surveying, including leadership roles.
- Track record of delivering projects across sectors such as commercial, industrial, leisure, healthcare, and automotive.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.
