Job Title: Engineering Team Leader - Nights
Location: West Bromwich
Type: Full time, Permanent
Monday evening to Saturday morning, 10pm to 6am
Salary: £40,000 per annum (negotiable for the right candidate)
Overtime: 1.5x
The Company:
My client is looking for an Engineering Team Leader to join their team working nights only. The successful Team Leader will be working for a leading FMCG manufacturer in West Bromwich covering safety, quality and output inspections. A successful candidate will be multiskilled and have a good understanding of electrical engineering principles.
Responsibilities will include:
* Create different methods to mitigate health and safety risks.
* Inspect facilities, machinery, and processes to identify ways in which risks can be minimised.
* Remain up to date on any new rules and regulations regarding health and safety in the workplace.
* Minimise downtime through efficient maintenance planning
* Oversee equipment breakdowns and scheduled maintenance
* Establish and implement quality standards
* Monitor workflows, processes, and products.
* Maintain precise documentation of work activities
* Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives throughout the organisation
Requirements:
Engineering qualifications/Apprenticeship
Team Leader/Supervisor experience
