Salary: £14 - £14.50 per hour

Hours: To be confirmed, mainly day shifts

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at our West Bromwich site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing production, preferably within the metal or fabrication industry. This role requires excellent team management skills, the ability to prioritise workloads effectively, and a commitment to maintaining safe systems of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Manage and lead production teams, providing guidance and support to achieve production targets.
• Prioritise and allocate tasks to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of production schedules.
• Implement and maintain safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any production-related issues.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in manufacturing production, preferably in the metal or fabrication industry.
• Strong team management and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of safe systems of work and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
