The Role Following a major transformation and rapid team growth over the past year, we're looking for a dynamic Delivery Director to drive operational excellence and continued improvement. You will be responsible for overseeing Scheduling, Streetworks Administration, Data Management, and Control Room operations, ensuring seamless service delivery while maintaining strong customer engagement and regulatory compliance. Reporting directly to the Director of Transition & Regulation, you will lead a large team with around 7 direct reports. You must be comfortable working in an evolving landscape, managing transformation projects, and adapting to change. Key Responsibilities 路Lead the transformation of Planning & Scheduling, optimising processes and systems for maximum efficiency. 路Oversee Control Room operations, expanding its scope to cover all network activities. 路Manage the Data Collation team, ensuring compliance with regulatory digitisation standards. 路Develop and maintain strategic relationships with local authorities to secure Streetworks permitting. 路Provide strong leadership to circa 100 employees, with around 5 direct reports. 路Drive customer engagement strategies, ensuring outstanding service delivery within a managed service package environment. 路Manage and adapt to ongoing transformation projects, ensuring smooth operational transitions. What We're Looking For 路Consultancy background with experience delivering managed service projects in the utilities sector. 路Strong customer engagement skills, ensuring service excellence and long-term client relationships. 路Extensive experience in senior leadership, with a track record of driving operational excellence. 路Strong commercial acumen, using data analysis to drive business performance and efficiencies. 路Experience in the Water, Gas, or Energy industry, with an understanding of regulations and best practices. 路Expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and PMI frameworks. 路Ability to lead through change, managing transformation projects effectively. Hybrid Working & Travel 路Primarily based across two London locations. 路Occasional visits to an office in the Midlands. All travel paid for.
